What started as an Earth Day Spring Cleaning Donation Drive transformed into a Fall Donation Drive due to COVID-19. We began collecting gently-used clothes, household textiles, and small household goods in compostable donation bags at UNOVA Coworking in February. Those piles quickly outgrew the space, and board members Ashley & Joe Lowry offered use of their living room until the new date was scheduled. Seven months later, Green Springville proudly delivered three vehicles chock full of goods to the Savers FUNDrive drop-off. How much is that exactly? 813 pounds of clothes and textiles, 370 pounds of household items, 11 pounds of books, and 5 pieces of furniture, all kept out of local landfills!
